The main issue is that cartoons these days aren't made for younger audiences anymore, they're made for mentally ill adults projecting their fetishes and mental illness towards other mentally ill people and then they wonder why nobody watches their shit and people have moved to Anime and Skibidi Toilet.
Even normies are sick of it and will avoid anything that looks too gay, again another reason anime is dominating the industry right now, there's literally nothing on that's good except Smiling Friends and the usual indie cartoon.
