Im back from the store!
It felt good to get out. In the summer, I mostly go out only at night because of the heat. It was nice to see the fireflies and there was a nice mild breeze.
Not so far from where I live, there is one of those mega-gas stations where they have literally everything you could want; beer, fresh coffee, a fine deli, the usual groceries and produce, and ironically the best fast food in the area. Plus they got those odd quasi-slot machines that people seem to like for some reason. I was feeling fanciful and got some onion rings which I am about to enjoy.
I just mention it cuz its sort of an odd experience for me, as its strangely so lively at night with locals from all walks. Its just strange to see so many people out at night and living it up in, of all places, a gas station. Maybe you have one of those mega gas stations nearby too.
I sort of feel bad for a lot of people when I see them though. Somehow you can tell they are just getting by, on the treadmill of life.
I hope the economy gets better and the cost of living goes down. I am fine, but I feel bad for the people trying to find their future or make families. The economy is so hard on everyone now.
Anyways, thats my blog. Time for these onion rings.
