Yeah, that's the joke: basically Nanpa, outside of the chapters/episodes where we see him interacting with the regular cast, leads an even weirder second life where he is one of the main characters in a beyblade-like show.
Edgy mc Edgy, there has not interacted with the main cast even once, in the manga, as far as I remember.
