I got the impression the first cycle seemed to imply that Mydei became the king of Kremnos in the normal way and waged war against Okhema. This is different from how TB's cycle went, where he allied with Okhema and then went to kill his dad. His refusal to become king meant Kremnos became ruins and the people moved to Okhema, so he never lead the armies against the city. And all this happened because his dad got a prophecy that made him go insane and throw Mydei into the sea of souls. Same prophecy also caused the dad to split Nikador's soul, so if that prophecy never happened then the dad also never made Nikador immortal. My guess is that Lygus was just trying shit through prophecies to try to break the loop. That could explain why loops are different despite starting the same. Was also a book in 3.0 that implied prophecies changing, so could be Lygus again. Hope they explain this next patch.
