reminder that we have a permanently open land border with the EU, so even if we stopped the boats it won't stop people coming here.

during breggxit it was realised that the "border" between northern ireland and the rest of ireland has several hundred crossing points and even more if you count non-vehicle crossing points, so it was basically unenforceable. people on both sides of the border also do not want it enforced in any way.

so an idea emerged that said
>okay, let's make a light customs border in the irish sea; northern irelandcucks voted mostly to remain anyway, so they get to be in the UK while also in the EU market
this would have meant that travel between NI and the rest of the UK would have required a passport for non-UK/Irish nationals, and just any form of identification for our own folk. but the ulster unionists chimped out and said no because they didn't want to feel "cut off" from the rest of the uk.

so now if a wog arrives in the republic of ireland (which is very easy thanks to EU free travel), there is not one single thing standing between them and the UK.
