Most Israelis visit Sinaia for some reason, idk why, its a station in the Carpathian mountains, has nothing to do with mount Sinai, i guess they just like the name, there are hotels there almost exclusively filled with Israelis.
If you eat kosher stuff it might be difficult to try some of the best food because they often contain pork but if you dont care about it than you should try mici (see pic), the best in Bucharest are at the Obor market, "sarmale" is also a great food, basically minced meat with rice rolled into little tubes with cabbage or grape leaf.
The jewish quarter is kinda abandoned and filled with junkies nowadays but there is a nice vegan restaurant there if you are into that, i sometimes go there to have a few beers once in a while, some cool hippie girls own the place and if its empty they usually sit at your table and talk with you.
All kinds of interesting architecture here idk, i would get a guide to show me everything and tell the story, i actually know an Israeli guide that only does Israeli clients but i wont mention him here, you can find one easily if you search.

Mici.
Basically skinless sausages, you serve them with a small puddle of mustard like that.
Its the working man's food.
