Blight is a bit boring if you ask me, that's a side effect of it being the first game so it's more unpolished than the rest. I would definitely suggest continuing on to awake and colony if you could at least tolerate blight. If you played Black Souls, it's pretty much the same thing as telling someone to play Black Souls 2 after 1.
