you'll be fine. what's the point of being elite when there aren't any slaves to lord over? elites want power, not destruction. the destruction is just a side effect that I personally think AI will reduce. WW3 will be the first Smart War where humans will get to watch on the sidelines. It might even become a form of entertainment.
