Nta, but BL tends to be darker in that aspect. Picrel is about a guy just finding out his addict friend died a while back in prison. Most of the story is from the addict's perspective and his descent into drugs and homelessness because he doesn't subscribe to societal expectations. The addict isn't a saint by any means, but you do feel for him knowing he dies at the end.

I can never find something this dark in yuri.
