don't worry it's already happening, picrel was from /g/ right after the sharty hack and i'd be suprised if 4chan makes it past 2026 or even this year. bit unrelated but also i recall some communities on /vg/ or /vt/ (don't remember which) permanently migrating to another imageboard.
