Whalers aren't actually an issue. Whales are actually doing better than a lot of fish are because the Chinese are doing pic related. They have a massive fishing fleet that scrapes the sea floor and not only decimates, but obliterates ecosystems. They straight up fish entire ecosystems into extinction and then move on. They're starting to annihilate the fish off the coast of South America and Africa now.
