I've never understood this mindset honestly, I like revisiting stuff I watched/played/etc. as a kid to find stuff that I didn't notice the first time around, but it's like a lot of people here seem to view getting older as this intrinsically-negative experience that stops them from liking anything in a way that isn't detached or otherwise deliberately ironic.
