Basically, there's a misspelling in the hebrew of the old testament in Leviticus 25:10 it omits the hebew letter teshuvu in a word, which in gematria is has a numerical value of six.

Therefore in Talmudic Judaism it's assumed that the jews can't retake Israel until six million jews are "omitted" (killed). That's why the meme of six million jews is repeated over and over.
