The real reason people seethe about AI is not because it will steal their jerbs, but because it has the same name as the scary thing in movies that take over humanity. The A"I" that we use is just an extension of procedural generation tech that literally no one cared about, since "procedural generation" doesn't have the same name as the evil robots in movies.
