I'm honestly doubting it at this point. Bamco can't throw the budget at GE the way Capcom can with MH, so its always going to be the inferior game. MH fans also aren't as interested in trying out alternatives since they eat so good with Capcom's output (Wilds notwithstanding).
Its why it makes sense to me to see them pivot to Code Vein since soulsfags don't have a stick up their ass as far as MH fans when it comes to people copying their game.
My personal wish would be for the Resonant Ops gacha to be turned into a proper GE game.
