Remember when "a vocalist running away last minute" turned into "Aki broke up with her best friend in a big fight that is hurting Aki to this day"? No one cared. Just rewrite the story.
The funeral was fake. Kyou was disowned in order to play the guitar. Hajime can't confess to Momoka because she knows Kyou is still alive somewhere.
