"Finally..." Carlos whispered to himself seeing the dim glow of a street lamp. This particular parking lot made a good spot for swaps and drop-offs considering the factory manager was on the take but it never made tripping around the alleys any better.

The man he was there to meet was standing just out of the halo of light with the light red glow of a cigerette that was in the process of being extinguished. He turned and picked up the briefcase that was at his side.

"Took you long enough." He said in a rough voice. Carlos scoffed and put his hands in his pockets. "I'm on time so quit complaining, you got the goods?"

The man raised his arm and the briefcase. Carlos became aware of just how small he was compared to the man and felt a twang of nervous energy that told him something was off.
