Made a direct comparison collage between the Tokyo Toy Show demo screens and the unused demo input data discovered in the Sonic 1 final. Lines up almost perfectly, the only problem being that we don't have the original Green Hill map from the 1990 demo. He could have moved faster or slower due to the terrain and the speed he originally had in the TTS build.
