Like he was always kind of pathetic, but he used to be brash, have some balls, and never really cowered all that much to anyone, even if he was frightened by much stronger characters like Whitebeard. Ennies Lobby and Marineford Buggy never begged or cowered in front of Crocodile or Mihawk.
