P4 is easily and by far worst of the nusonas, which is to say still a pretty good game but I don't understand why it exploded and had all kinds of spinoffs while 3 didn't except weird shit like that mobile game and whatever Trinity soul was. I remember thinking P4 was better than P3 15 years ago but that was because Tartarus sucks cock and P3 was very jank and experimental, but now I still like P3 better even if the question of how the fuck Ryoji warped reality to sign up as a student in about 3 days still keeps me up at night. I also don't really like how so much of the investigation team revolves around you, P4 man does not feel like a peer like Door does, and even more than Joker since Makoto and Morgana do a fair amount of directing the P5 gang. I don't like how Rise has such an obvious crush on you specifically and during the ski trip everyone's tripping over themselves to taste the Ziodynecock.

It's hard to have that profound of a story when the game has so many endings based on how well you manage to figure out the truth, so I guess giving you a very missable, completely happy ending for once is the reward for managing to figure things out. Even P5's ending had you giving up your powers and seemingly your freedom (even if none of those lasted lol), it's a shame that now that Atlus has tasted the power of spinoff milking starting with P4 that we're never getting kino like P3's ending again. Anyway, looking forward to revival whenever it comes out and I hope it makes Izanagi-no-Okami actually not garbage.
