I'll try the cotton swab but I compared her to other pics on mfc and it doesn't seem like you're supposed to look completely through her twintails. It's hard to judge through a picture though. I'm dusting under low light to see every spec but maybe this stuff was on her the whole time and I never noticed.. I think I'm going crazy because her right twintail looks weird now and I left her left twintail undusted for comparison.
