O Sacred Glycon, Serpent of Prophecy and Fertility,
New manifestation of divine Asclepius,
Thou who dost speak wisdom through thy prophet's voice,
Thou who dost bless the barren with new life,
As the faithful of Abonutichus once sought thy counsel,
So do I humbly approach my ventures in the marketplace may flourish,
That my goods may find favor with eager buyers,
As thou dost bless the womb with fruitful harvest,
So bless my labors with abundant success.
By thy prophetic power, guide my choices wisely,
Shield my dealings from misfortune and deceit,
That prosperity may grow from honest trade,
As surely as thy cult spread throughout the Empire.
Accept this prayer, O Golden-Haired Serpent,
And let thy blessings multiply my fortune.
