What I described is the least weird shit, unless "this doesn't fit my narrative" inherently makes something "weird". I genuinely don't think you even believe what you're saying. Either that or you're a child who has never paid any attention to state and local government before in his life. Government at every level is full of these nonpartisan panels with too many people on them and "appointed" means something like "this bipartisan state legislature committee submits a list and you accept it because it doesn't matter and both parties already agreed to the list".
And it takes very little searching to find multiple other Jennifer Boelters in Minnesota alone. They also seem closer to an age where "held the title of intern 15 years ago" is feasible, whereas his wife is on his shitty security firm's website and is very clearly not that young.
