I found nothing wrong with the management/shopping aspect. It's just the shitty walking quests with a turn-based encounter every 10-20 steps that really slogs it down. I forgot to mention but in the save file I provided the girls are pretty much untouched by other men (only groped mandatorily in a couple of quests) and have only had sex with (you).
