Depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Sometimes I just enjoy it as a passive observer, without any sort of "self-insert". Sometimes I'll try to self-insert as the girl and imagine what it would be like, even though I don't have any relevant "parts". Other times I'll picture myself as some kind of mad scientist/summoner/cultist or whatever, someone who, for whatever reason, captured the girl in order to put her in the tentacle pit.
