Maybe I'm a sappy anomaly but it seems to me men are the more romantic gender, or at least have the capability to be. Dreaming of remaining chaste until marriage and marrying your true love. Romance requires some kind of idealism and yearning to bring it to fruition. Someone who wants the choice to kill their baby isn't romantic.
