I'm all for different types of energy, the government wants whatever is most profitable towards itself. It likes inefficient energy because it can introduce taxes to make it "profitable" by utilising subsidies and introduce laws to steal land to build it, then when it doesn't work? it has a crisis that keeps the government relevant. win-win-win. Tidal energy would be great, I don't know if any projects are using it right now, there was that one in the estuary? no idea what's going on with it now.
