If you want to learn to draw, try a bunch of different mediums and see what sticks. It might be that something unusual clicks for you, like me and crayons. Perhaps your true artist calling is painting memes on dollar store glassware or sculpting characters from clay you found while hiking. Trying new things is what I’ve found most helpful as an artist. Also, as a beginner, it’s important to recognize thar you shouldn’t compare yourself to people who’ve been at it for years. It’ not a fair comparison. Sucking at something is the first step to being good at something.
