Don't tell the Blacks I told you this but Egyptians didn't consider themselves White or Tawny either, they always considered themselves 'Red' or Copper coloured as a race. But they also specifically distinguished themselves from "Black" races which blahpipo just ignore entirely or claim that the Egyptian government has systematically repainted all ancient egyptian depictions of skin colour.
