just got back from AX
here's my vtuber report

Hololive: despite not having a booth this year, surprisingly still a shiton of rep
-TCG booth was constantly active, last I checked they sold out of starter decks and boosters
>the bae/ina ohmnah line was constantly packed, didnt even bother trying to get it
>ina's amiami was pretty much completely sold out when I got there, nothing Ina related was left
>a bunch of holo stuff at the usual places (omocat, goodsmile, etc,)
>the tokyo lifestyle booth, which is the closest to a holo booth there was, was also very busy, although aside from this new line of merch>>101912872 , everything else there was just the usual backstock merch (old acrylics, keychains, etc.) kinda boring desu. its obvious cover is prioritizing the dodgers night over AX

Vshojo: no official booth, there presence was more scarce.
>Mouse had a cameo at the sega booth early in the day, didnt see it
>reselling of usual merch collabs (sempai squad)
if there was anything else, I didnt see it

Nijisanji:there was no nijisanji at AX

Phase Connect: there was no phase connect at AX

Indies:
> by far the most popular indie was shylily and her gamersupps booth, that booth was packed due their smart decision to have an endless free sample fountain of their drinks (the pink mango drink was fucking tasty ngl) also apparently she was there in person signing stuff. at pretty much every booth that wasnt directly holo related, there was some form of shylily merch
> mint and saba were the runner ups, mint repped merch at a smaller booth that I guess was hosted by that group thats hosting her concert, some vtubers were doing karaoke there
>sabas most popular rep was obviously the omocat booth

keep in mind this is just Thursday which is usually the least popular day of the con. dont plan on going the other 3 days. also literally nothing happening in LA idk what the media is talking about
