Empathy has limits. And right now, it has run out.

Israel has killed thousands and thousands of Palestinians in Gaza. The majority were civilians. Thousands were children. Whole families erased. Hospitals hit. Refugee camps bombed. Journalists killed. Every time it happens, we hear the same excuse: Hamas uses civilians as shields.

You do not get to demand sympathy while dropping bombs on people trapped in an open-air prison with nowhere to run. You do not get to call it self-defense when your response is wildly disproportionate and relentless.

People are not stupid. They see the double standards. They see how Palestinian lives are treated as expendable, how any criticism of Israel is labeled antisemitic, while entire apartment blocks are turned to dust.

This is not about cheering for Iran or Hamas. This is about calling out the hypocrisy and the violence that gets ignored when it comes from the "right" side.

You want empathy? Then stop weaponizing it. Stop expecting the world to cry for you while others are being buried under rubble. Sympathy is earned through humanity, not demanded through silence.
