The phonecall scene was so well-executed. Her response to Rin's question wasn't put off until some bullshit "perfect moment" 3 volumes later during the hokkaidou shuugakuryokou or whatever trope. It was just a regular day for Rin, walking home with friends, and suddenly Itsumi is so full of love that she has to pour her heart out to here there and then, even if it's over the phone. It's such an otherwise mundane setting, but that ironically makes it feel so much more special and real. Absolute masterpiece of yuri and romance in general. This manga has all the payoffs that you wait for in other romcoms but never get.
