i would describe it moreso as an overwhelming sense of disillusionment
the level of conversation is so debased and so lacking in critical thought all you can do is shake your head. social media has completely degraded the intellectual class.
there are no more literary giants.. there are no more philosophical titans
we are so culturally stagnated it has become oppressive
