I don't know why these 2 posts irked me, but I will try:
>The hugbox already sucking up to ex holos by allowing their threads in an "exclusive" board. Its afraid
That's a weirdly hostile way to look at things, and it ONLY makes sense if you hugely misunderstand the raison d'etre of that place.

/hlgg/'s stance, pre or post-hack, has never changed:
>Holos only. Nobody cares if you also watch chuuba other than Holos. Just don't bring them up in /hlgg/.
>Non-Holos are on-topic if they're doing a collab with Holos. Yes, even homos or indies or Niji

Here's the thing: For a good 4-5y, that was a custom ruleset that applies ONLY for /hlgg/. It worked well, but it really was favoritism enabled by sharkmeido
And around last year or so, we saw movements that the /vt/ meido team no longer wanted to let /hlgg/ have that exception
Hence why reporting a non-Holo shitpost in /hlgg/ with the "Off-Topic" reason no longer works. /vt/ is for all vtubers

So, Towa. Just like what that blog post said >>101693966, Towa is new /vtg/ in all but name, and other than good moderation, the other good thing they did was allowing, guess what, custom rulesets for each general:
>/hlgg/ anons don't wanna talk about non-Holos? ogey
>/uuu/ and /awat/ and /ggg/ and /hlg/ wanna talk about non-Holos who are actually ex-holos? ogey
And in return: Behave.
Hell, why do you think a big part of /hlg/ moved there? They still don't like EN, but they know that they should behave, so they're allowed there.

When you start out with that kind of philosophy, the argument that—
>The hugbox already sucking up to ex holos by allowing their threads in an "exclusive" board. Its afraid
—doesn't make sense at all.
