"There's just so much. I can't choose. I'd be happy with anything, really."
"Nuh uh! I gave you a straight answer! Now you have to pick one too. Them's the rules!"
"Fine, fine! I think I'd like to see..."
You look around the flat expanse of land. The entire concept of nature is alien to you. Even the parks and holodecks can only capture it in limited definition. There are so many flavors of nature. The mountains, the deserts, the ocean. You're partial to the ocean yourself. You'd like to see actual shades of blue, that aren't born from a failure of your own eyes to render matter. However, what you're really interested in now is Digimon. You've heard so much about the gardens, and how they live lives of their own, and of how badly the city has paved over their homes.
"Something like this. A forest. But an actual one. I wonder how overgrown it is by now, with no humans to mess with it."
"I wouldn't be too sure. No way you're the very first, or the very last human to get out of here."
"I think they'd have better things to do than chopping down trees then."
"Fair enough."
You sit there for a bit more, toasting sausages and marshmallow sandwiches until the packets both run dry. Then you extinguish the fire and head into the tent. Phascomon's mind is still racing, clearly, for he immediately comes up with more questions.
