Two-thirds of Russia’s economy is either stagnant or on the verge of collapse. Manufacturing alone accounts for 52% now in full stagnation. Add to that coal, oil refining, construction, logistics, and the auto industry — collectively responsible for another 17% of federal revenue — and the picture grows darker. Over 40% of Russian companies now carry debts three times greater than their profits, with liquidity increasingly dependent on unpaid bills rather than bank loans, which are either too expensive or simply inaccessible, acc. to the Ukrainian intelligence. In a move both cynical and authoritarian, the Kremlin has classified economic and trade data as state secrets — not to fix the crisis, but to bury it. #MakeRussiaPay
