You step into the lab and look around. Most of the gadgets and gizmos have been swapped out from the last time. You spy multiple displays with maps and charts that fluctuate in real time. Right before your eyes, a siren blares from a screen. ToyAgumon scurries over to attend to the white flashes.

"What's that?" Phascomon asks, pointing to the Virtual Machine that once held the zipbombs.

Two book.apps are being held above their pedestals, with numerous wires and sensors plugged directly into them.

"That's one of the things we wanted to ask you about," Wind says, "but we'll save that for later. Squid is going to share the next bit of info."

She points to the screen.

"So, we've figured out some things about Digivolution! In order to go from Champion to Ultimate, a Digimon needs a much higher volume of data. And it speeds it up if they have reference material from Digimon that have an equivalent filesize."

Right, you heard this from Doc too. You feel a little bad that they've been working so hard to discover this, when you got your answer in five minutes. Phascomon seems to find that hilarious, and chokes back a gurgle.

"Mhm." You nod, looking around the room to see if you can figure out where she's going with this.

"Remember when I told you that we were looking into a way to locate Digimon? Like when you were asking me about your leg injury? Well, we found something we can use!" She exclaims.

Wind motions to a map with warning labels all over it.

"This is the device that 87O uses to keep track of Digimon. It's a piece of indexing software, responsible for locating specific Digimon types."

You examine the footage on the screen. The exterior of this partition has a giant antennae dish, that swivels rapidly and points towards the streams of junk data in the air.

"What's more- There's a whole repository of Digimon reference data inside!"

"Hey, sounds like Digi-DNA." Phascomon quips.

"What's your plan? We're not blowing it up, right?"

"No. I want us to get in, pirate the software itself, and then grab a few key pieces of data. Being able to locate Digimon will be vital to our long-term plans. Plus, some of our members could do with upgrades to their partners."

"When you say long-term, you mean taking over the city, right? What specific Digimon do you need for that?"

"We need something that can counter and destroy Brigadramon."

Now they're speaking your language.
