Unfortunate truth is that it sells anon. I can't emhasize enough how much the Chinese love it which is kind of sad if you think about it tbdesu. Gachas are Japanese with idol culture without the positives, a more broad audience and the parasocial relationships dialed 10x with some minor gender war retardation on top
