I have a different problem, while a lot of stuff I make is for myself, its made to be enjoyed by other people as well. What really fills me is seeing other people participating in it. I want to see people use what I have created. They don't have to praise me or anything, at best I just wonder what they think about it. Just their honest thoughts, so that maybe I can improve, or so that we can talk about it. I don't need a cult following or anything, one person is often enough.
I feel that if no one sees Some of the tings I made (those things that I made with the intention of others liking it), then the time was partly wasted, as it will never see the light of day. Nothing breaks my hears faster then seeing something with a lot of potential being sidelined or altogether ignored.
For context I think it may be important to mention that I mostly make games.
