Prove me wrong: Every isekai are made to subvert this. They do it by skipping the first half of the journey entirely and never challenge the hero's worldview. The strength of a quintessential isekai hero does not come from the quality of their character but rather his foresight of the plot, his haxx skill, or his luck.
