That's called free software. Like every fan game or app, but bonus, this one will just be licensed and advertised by Hasbro so it's a motivator if a ticket Equestria isn't enough.

I'm not part of the headcount, but my role is critical: directing a small, unpaid team to deliver a complete game in just 6 months with no budget, but infinite motivation and rewards. My job is to protect the vision, remove blockers and keep everyone aligned with the spirit of the project. It may not be my dream team, but the mission must be done, and done right.
Devs:
Lemondrop ( Lead development, Engine, Systems Dev )
Ansis ( Integration, Game logic, Gameplay, Content Dev )
Artists:
Thebatfang ( Lead Character Design, Animation )
Shydale ( 3D Modeling, Layout Artist, Character rigging )
Darkdoomer ( Graphic Assets, UI designer, Scenery Design )
Music:
Princewhatever ( Composer, will have all resources available too )
No vocals, focused on atmosphere and ambient emotion even if there's just silence and footsteps in the darkness.
Tools:
Godot, Blender, we're using Vulkan so it can be ported to all platforms from PC to PS5 and mobile later, so let's focus on Pc development.
Lots of PCK and GLTF files with strict revision/version control
TOML/YAML or even JSON for the config or game mods
Valgrind for performance test and debugging
AI tools for debugging and other fixes.
Common sense applies: keep it simple, keep it productive.
