I'm 40 years old, been playing Strinova for about 2 weeks on and off, I'm Bronze 4 or something.
I used to be a big gamer back in middle and high school, but then I went to college in 2003 and I basically had to put gaming on hold. When I left college in 2010 (took me 7 years, this happens often in my country) I tried to get back into gaming, got into the hot new game of 2010 that was LOL and into the Counter Strike I used to play sometimes in high school, and failed miserably at it.
Before trying to play LOL and Counter Strike, I used to put all my heart and soul into everything I did. Today, I half-ass everything I do, don't even bother with pursuing something, when I do it's more out of obligation, and when I fail I always blame it on something elase. Because the last time I put my passion on something and took responsibility for my actions, all I ended up doing was wasting 10 years of my life. Wasting 25% of my life taught me that putting effort on anything is useless.
Strinova, however, is making me feel like in the good old days, when everything was possible...
