Now that i think about it more... what the hell is a German doctor doing in this type of village? @_@ i understand him going for Japan... but to stay in a village that even the Japanese themselves don't like to go to or bother with @_@ they themselves would rather not live in it @_@ unless he don't live in it and just work there... he could be in the city that is very close to it... then it wouldn't matter much @_@
