It is a war crime that they introduce characters with stellar designs/personalities and kill them off so unceremoniously. Look, I get it, themes of brutality of war and needless deaths and such, but come on, you can't just bring in the character designer of Pokemon and not utilize them to maximum effect, that's the real crime of this show.
