last year on my usual route to work I saw a 'hog lost on the road when I was on my bike so I picked him up with my socks put in my backpack and went to a park that's on the edge of a nature reserve not too far away and left him there
sadly it probably wasn't enough because on the same route a couple months later I saw a hedgehog that got completely obliterated by a car his guts were spread about everywhere
I got a feeling it was the same one
at least it made some seagulls happy
