I might prefer privately sharing the closest details of my experience, as you mention above, it may be impious to the Gods to profane the experience by spreading it around willynilly. Let’s suffice it to say this: after only half-seriously praying to the Goddess Athena for a short while, I asked for a nonspecific sign I couldn’t just rationalize away. The very day, in the summer, in the desert, unlike anything I’ve seen in my life, a storm materialized out of blue sky and resulted in lightning, thunder, rain, and even hail. Then it all just disappeared just as fast. Ever since then I’ve become a bit of a scholar of ancient religious “canon”, and was given something of a gift for telling what is true about the Gods. Almost like a sixth sense, which feels like a great sparking green flame rising from the crown of my head, which has given me some very interesting insight to their history and role in the universe. Those insights I truly do not share lightly, but it all leads me to “why”. What should I be doing for the Gods? I’m not directly asking you, but that’s my main mystery right now.
