“Are you volunteering yourself for some work?” Cyril asks you, the man sounding interested for the first time.
>“Say what you need, and I’ll get it done. In exchange though, I want that bow. I intend to win the Competition with or without it, but having it would certainly make things easier. And I’d be sure to hold you and the Knights of Seiros in the highest regard for helping to make that a reality.”
“The Inexhaustible was given to me by Archbishop Byleth herself. It symbolizes that I am here to carry out her will.” Cyril states. “I cannot simply part with it just because you ask me to. However…there is a task that I do have in mind. One that you are perhaps well-suited for.”
>“Name it.”
“A rogue mage from Fodlan is competing in the Competition.” Cyril informs you. “His name is Gyles. An exiled member of House Dominic, yet one who possesses their Crest. He managed to steal a Heroes Relic from right under our nose. The Ichor Scroll.”
>“The Ichor Scroll? I’ve never heard of it.”
“A more obscure relic. It is a Crest Weapon, a magic tome, that corresponds to the Crest of Lamine. It was recently rediscovered, but before it could be transported to Garreg Mach, Gyles pilfered it and made way for Morfis. He is a skilled sorcerer who had no issue taking out an entire unit of knights to get his hands on the tome. Despite not having the Crest of Lamine, the Ichor Scroll is still an incredibly dangerous tome in his hands. Gyles is keeping a safe distance away from the Embassy, but make no mistake, he plans to compete. I would like for you to eliminate him and retrieve the Ichor Tome. Since you possess a Crest, you’ll have no problem holding the Heroes Relic.”
>“So, if I off this guy and bring you back the tome, you’ll give me The Inexhaustible?”
“I will LEND you The Inexhaustible.” Cyril corrects you. “The bow is not mine to give, but at least for the rest of the duration of this contest, you may use it. Unlike Klement, I care not if you kill this man. But be careful, he is not to be underestimated.”
