When were the extremely early (I'm talking 1990~1992) Sonic characters made?

>Amy: made at some undermined point as sort of a same-species version of the failed Madonna, only appeared in JP print media until Ohshima snuck her in a game without Naka breathing down his neck
>Charmy: total manga oc who somehow got handpicked to appear in Chaotix
>Tails: designed for Sonic 2
>Mighty and Ray: designed for SegaSonic in either late '92 or early '93, allegedly Sonic's armadillo concept is complete coincidence, they (along with Sonic's bandmates ie.Vector) also wore a version of Sonic's shoes before being redesigned later
