Yeah in elementary school I joked the ones with the Caldicott Award or whatever the fuck stamped on the cover had gotten them because the judges felt sorry for them, and then in freshman year of high school I asked the English teacher why everything we read was so gloomy and depressing. Then I found online Nazi literature including a fictional story about a guy in Mississippi shooting all the niggers in his school, now that was uplifting for little me.
