No, I like buying shit. Everyone does. I'm not going to work for the betterment of mankind. Most jobs don't provide that kind of satisfaction. Communism is predicated on seeing the worker as equal. When everyone knows some jobs are inherently more enjoyable than others. That is why everyone wants to run the community garden after the revolution while they guy who replaces your septic tank is nowhere to be found. Under capitalism the worker is entitled to do whatever they want to with their money this freedom can be exploited into things you don't "need" but I don't want to explain to an official why I want or need certain things. If I want to collect overpriced anime figurines that is my choice not yours.
